From a UOW perspective the hoodie is a key garment and we defend anything bad said about the hoody. Hoodies up bad Hoodies down good in an animal farm sense. The Class of 2010/11Posted:2 Jun 2010 14:52:17The Class of 2010/11 range has now been finalised and being released within the next 6-8 weeks to take the clothing world by storm. The official University colours can now be announced. Navy / Grey, white and sorbet. The designs are inspired by American Colleges campus clothing. The range will evolve around the 4 colours producing a cracking selection of Hoodies, sweatpants, vests, polo shirts, tshirts, sweatshirts and zip hoodies. | Festival ClothingPosted:19 May 2010 15:05:21Unfortunately, I am not booked in to go to any festivals this year, which is a shame. The other half is off to Glastonbury and has placed her order for UOW glastonbury clothing. Hannah is wearing the UOW Miss Wet tshirt, Charlotte is wearing the Mud Wrestling tshirt which is by far and away the perfect Glastonbury tshirt. The brand is tailorded towards the fun people of this world which must include festival goers so get involved and don the club tops. They will create huge amounts of attention. New Sweatpants addedPosted:11 May 2010 09:24:55UOW have just released a new design for the sweatpants as they are proving so popular. We are still waiting on some new stock in sizes small and XL but watch this space. Make sure you take a look at the new sweatpants design. The men’s sweat pants are currently the best selling garments within the whole range, which sits perfectly with the garments rise in the fashion stakes. Hopefully they are here to stay as we love sweatpants at UOW as they a classic piece of varsity clothing. The new sweatpant design is printed vertically down the leg directly underneath the pocket, for those that like the bigger bolder prints. Te feedback we have had on the men’s sweatpants has been phenomenal. Great product at a great price. Admittedly the other half has more, even though I am not sure how. The family are sick of it as they can easily prdict what they are getting for Christmas and Birthdays. It could be a lot worse. I could own a second hand book store. Actually, bad example. I am ignorant to literature lovers and apologies. I just have never been interested. I thought I'd share my fave garments with you. Overall my fave garments are the mens sweatshirts with the distressed seam. More specifically the brown sweatshirt and navy sweatshirt are top drawer. The Navy yellow combo is much more American College sweatshirt the the colour combination of the brown and white could be considered more traditionally british varsity. | |

We are reducing the colours to increase brand identity and increasing the amount of designs to create more choice for our consumers, which will hopefully please people with different tastes. We are also offering joe public the chance to design graphics for the clothing. Whats the deal? I am not a designer. i am a business man that would to be able to design! But, unlike the delirious people you get on Britains got talent and X factor I realise my limits. | Promotional VideosPosted:4 May 2010 15:34:44University of whatever are planning a series of promotional videos to coincide with the new brand idenitity and range launch for winter 2010/11. Promoting the clothing brand itself is going to be very discreet, and all the focus will be on creating humourous video content, that will hopefully viral out to plenty of new people to introduce them to the brand. We are interested to know people ideas. We have a dossary of ideas to work from but are open to suggestions from you creative bods out there. The brand is targetting party people, festival goers and clubland. UOW embraces party culture, celebrates misbehaivng and laughs about drink culture. There is too much of this running through fields and romances. We want to focus on real life, what 99% of us do and love at weekends | |
Summer FashionPosted:29 Apr 2010 16:42:44Being British makes it difficult to define Summer fashion, as the weather makes it pretty expensive to cover all the possible weather combinations. Driving home last night it started hailing and dropped to 3 degrees. It's May for god sake. In one summers day we can wake up to bright sunshine, which makes us think shorts, flip flops and vest. By the time we have stepped outside we realise the misatkle as the first part of cold air strikes the nipples. Erect equals sweatshirt or hoodie required. Sunglasses are now purely image rather than function as the sundissapears behind the raincloud. Goosebumps dominate the legs as we resemble a plucked chicken, but we stick to the shorts cos we're British. Our sales patterns are pretty inconclusive, but we are being forced into buying one of the two in larger quantities. We'd appreciate any feedback from ladies regarding info on hoodies for women. How many zip hoodies do you have in the wardrobe, compared to hoodies? How about your friends? Do your lady friends and family have a preference. The Autumn / winter season will see UOW adopt official University stripes with specific University colours. This will increase the strength of the brand identity considerably. The favourtie mens hoodies tend to be the grey hoodies, followed closely behind by the electric blue hoodies, brown hoodie and finally the black hoodies. The womens hoodies that top list are much brighter. This says a lot. The grey hoodies are very popular again, followed closely by white hoodies and yellow hoodies. Early signs would suggest that the university stripes being adopted by the University of whatever are going to be Black, Charcoal, Grey, White and Hot pink!
